At Artisan Fire & Security our customer support starts from the moment you make contact and continues for the entirety of the contract. All the team are fully committed to providing first class customer service and support.

To ensure that all our systems offer the best fire and security detection and reliability, all our systems are backed up by a support package. Artisan Fire & Security 24 hour Customer Care Service plans are structured to maximise the integrity of your systems to ensure the best protection of life and property. The service plan consists of two components:

  • Regular routine fault preventative service visits to ensure that your system provides optimum performance.
  • Emergency call out for any problems which may arise.

Our engineering service team are equipped with the very latest test equipment and technology along with a host of replacement parts to ensure that we provide best possible service.

If you are not an existing customer don’t worry, as we are able to takeover other systems.

Service Packages

Without servicing, even the most effective equipment will deteriorate. It is therefore important that a qualified engineer carries out regular service checks. The level of maintenance and service our engineer team provides will depend on the service level you select. We have developed two maintenance and service plan options.

Standard

Provides routine maintenance and access to our callout services, 24-hours a day. A call out charges will apply.

Comprehensive

Provides full servicing including callout charges, free fitting of replacement parts for normal wear and tear and firmware upgrades on our systems.

Choose from one of our service packages and ensure you get the most out of your electronic fire/security system.

Frequently Asked Questions & Important Information

What is the warranty period on my new system?

The warranty period on parts is 12 months return-to-base from installation handover. However, labour is only covered for 3 months. Return-to-base repairs may temporarily reduce your premises security.

What is included under warranty?

Under warranty, all faults which occur due to defective materials or workmanship will be repaired free of charge, unless they have been caused by misuse, accidental or deliberate damage, Act of God or vandalism.

Which contract is best for me?

The comprehensive is ideal if you want to pay a fixed cost, with nothing else to pay for the life of the contract (subject to terms and conditions). Our standard level of cover offers inspection visits and access to our callout services. All parts and labour are charged at our contracted rate. Access equipment is not included in any of our Service Packages.

Important information relating to monitored systems

Due to monitored electronic security systems using the telephone line, any changes made to the line must be notified in writing to Artisan Fire & Security prior to the changes being made. Failure to provide this information may result in signal failure.

Cancellation Information

Annual Monitoring & Service packages are to be paid in advance. During the first 12 months there is no cancellation option available. However, after the first 12 months should you wish to cancel the package, either party must provide no less than 3 months written notice, unless you have chosen our No Quibble Guarantee Scheme which is a 3-year package and no cancellation option is available.

Comprehensive Package Exclusions

  1. Criminal Damage/Vandalism
  2. Acts of God, i.e. Fire, Flood etc
  3. User error, re-training and equipment relocation.
